CLIENT CHALLENGE

Web.com is the original domain name registrar and the leading provider of Internet services. Web.com’s products provide a range of resources usually reserved for larger organizations - from Web hosting, Web site design, e-commerce, search engine marketing, SSL Certificates, e-mail and domain name registration services, including WHOIS services.

Over a short period of time Web.com grew through several strategic acquisitions. While the acquisitions served to greatly expand the solutions they could offer, there were some key challenges, including: technology challenges, knowledge transition, resource challenges and cost factors.

Web.com turned to Radiant to support with the transition.

OUR SOLUTION

Radiant and Web.com have developed a long-term partnership to effectively address these challenges. We worked closely with Web.com management to fully understand the business drivers and assumed responsibility for complete maintenance of specific application suites. We built a team of optimal on-site and off-shore resources to bring significant cost-savings and serve as an extension of Web.com. Our team also analyzed, reverse engineered and provided application documentation to help further maintain and preserve the business rules for future strategic integration initiatives.

RESULTS

The long-term partnership has proven mutually beneficial. The acquisitions are able to function as a regular part of Web.com's business. In addition, the process our teams instituted means we are poised to quickly take-on any new and future acquisitions.
